RADON

This is a somewhat controversial topic…..

Many people believe it is a waste of money to test for radon gas…..

I tended to be in that category of people.

Then I took the time to investigate it and took the classes to become certified in Radon Gas measurement. I went to one of the 4 centers developed by the EPA to research and teach the public about Radon gas. It is located at Rutgers University in New Jersey….

There I learned about Radon gas, its effects, and the techniques and methods for detecting, and minimizing its effect on people.

My opinion now…….

EVERY HOME SHOULD BE TESTED FOR RADON GAS!!

Why the change of heart?

Its simple…..

Radon causes cancer….

It can be easily detected

The fix for Radon Gas is simple and inexpensive.

It could save your life.

Typical cost for one monitor radon test is $150 to $200.

Typical repair costs for a radon problem is $800 to $2500
